Responsibilities for MQ-9 Sensor Operator Instructor: Deliver platform instruction to Special Operations aircrew utilizing USAF courseware and training media. Provide instruction to aircrew utilizing classroom lecture/discussion, aircrew training devices, aircraft static, and computer based instruction. Operate training devices and serve as role players for ATD scenarios, and mission rehearsal operations. Provide subject matter expertise for lesson, scenario, and course development, maintenance and upgrade. Maintain familiarity with applicable tech orders and AFSOC instructions and review courseware to ensure accuracy of lesson content. Submit training change proposals where appropriate for development and upgrade of lessons. Support engineering and maintenance functions during test and evaluation of training devices. Perform other collateral duties as assigned by the Contract Instructor Lead. Reports to the Weapon System Lead regarding accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Comply with all Lockheed Martin policy and procedures. This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Qualifications Associate s Degree or Higher. Current TS/SCI security clearance. Previous Sensor Operator experience in MQ-9. Experience in military flight and training operations. Current or previously qualified as instructor in US Military aircraft. Strong and effective communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Desired skills Previous experience in AFSOC‘s MQ-9 flying program. 500 Hours total flight instructor time. 1500 Hours total flight time.
