The Role As an HR Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing software implementation projects for modules across our Talent|REWARD suite of tools. You will be responsible for following standard delivery methodology, managing project budget, maintaining appropriate documentation, and developing strong working relationships with both clients and other Client Delivery team members. Client project responsibilities will include guiding clients through a process assessment, identification and clarification of requirements, application configuration, implementation, user acceptance and may include post-production support. You will participate in projects to refine materials and streamline project processes. **Performance Objectives:** **People Management** * Manage a team of business analysts * Support associate development * Train, coach and mentor business analysts in all aspects of software delivery (requirements, configuration, QA, UAT, deployment and post deployment support * Coordinate resources to ensure successful project completion * Promote effective team communication * Promote a positive workplace environment * Ensure quality deliverables * Serve as mentor and resource for business analysts and less experienced project managers **Excellence** * Support your project team and demonstrate in your own work: * Provide quality, on-time deliverables * Utilize and help to continuously improve standard implementation materials * Enhance knowledge and skill sets in order to improve delivery **Clients** * Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients * Build client relationships and recognize growth opportunities * Enhance client likelihood to serve as reference * Effectively communicate with clients and project teams **Financial** * Work with Project Manager Team Lead on overall financial success * Manage project budgets and scopes * Improve the delivery of the software and provide it at the lowest cost * Identify out-of-scope work and manage budget impacts * Utilize standard work processes, tools, and methodologies to improve quality and profitability The Requirements * 5+ years of experience in software delivery and support * Demonstrated excellence as a people leader * Compensation or HRIS consulting experience required * Functional knowledge in the area of Talent Management Systems * Experience managing project financials, scope management and budget tracking * Demonstrated ability to work on virtual team * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Bachelor’s degree * Some travel required (15-20%) Any unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles submitted through our web site or to personal e-mail accounts of employees of Towers Watson are considered property of Towers Watson and are not subject to payment of agency fees.
