Alternate Location(s) Southeast Virtual Location Yes Job Description **_Summary of Responsibilities:_** In refocusing MetLife’s U.S. Business, the MetLife Premier Client Group is transforming the way it attracts and develops talent to drive a more customer-centric organization. A key component of this strategy is the evolution of its Advisor Teaming platform and support delivery model. This new role will report to the Regional Teaming Director and have direct interface with the Regional Vice President and Firm Leadership organizations to consult and develop the regional & local teaming support model. Deliverables include the launch & implementation of two complex initiatives designed to enhance MetLife’s industry-leading platform: Practice Succession Planning & the Team Associate Program. The individual chosen for this key role will engage Regional and Firm Leadership, consulting on firm business plan, analysis & metrics, aligning Sales Support Organization resources and support, and implementing plans. Developing a strong understanding of support processes, as well as analysis and identification of targeted firm opportunities, the Regional Teaming Manager will drive enhanced support for managers and top advisors to drive _productivity/per rep, product mix, profitability and the acquisition & retention of top talent._ **__________________________________________________________________________** **_Principal Responsibilities:_** 1. Partner with Regional Director to drive strategic planning process with Regional Vice Presidents to develop & execute on regional & firm performance goals 2. Devise plans and deliver implementation coaching & consulting support to identified firms to evolve local support model that drives advisor productivity, retention & talent acquisition 3. Drive adoption of the Team Associate Program (TAP), including the accountability structuring of local firm management 4. Identify & drive Practice Continuity plans for top advisors/team leaders; drive Practice Succession Planning 5. Orchestrate integrated approach with regional support organization, including the engagement of regional business partners on behalf of target firms based on identified needs 6. Consult with Regional Director to interface with firm leader to define & build firm infrastructure model & roles, installing role accountabilities that drive teaming culture and enhance the operational capabilities & profitability of the firm across multiple disciplines 7. At firm level, install repeatable processes and tracking that drive the adoption & sustainability of teaming support best practices 8. Use key metrics to identify business growth opportunities and targeted opportunities **_Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:_** Competencies/Skills: * 6 to 9 years of experience in financial services industry in sales or field sales support-related role * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * Self-confident and assertive; comfortable holding business partners, stakeholders and peers accountable * Coaching, consulting, communication and facilitation skills; ability to engage multi-level audiences * Process-oriented * Openness and ability to communicate critical information in a constructive way * Technical knowledge of practice management, production growth & sales activity success factors a plus **_Desired Skills:_** * Bachelor’s degree in a related field Business Category Americas Region Job Category Sales Salary Grade 30 Number of Openings 1 Equal Employment Opportunity MetLife is proud to be an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
