Our HR Technology consulting services range from strategy development to highly advanced workforce planning and optimization solutions The Role The Requirements Analyst serves as an integral member of a global team to design, build, test and deliver Towers Watson’s technology products to our external or internal clients. This role works with Towers Watson’s proprietary and/or industry-leading systems and applications and ensures that these are designed and built according to agreed-upon technical specifications and quality standards. Key Accountabilities / Duties: Excellence * Receive and author business requirements from local client-facing teams or product management team and review with teams to understand and interpret business needs * Research best practices and apply system knowledge as needed to identify optimal development approach to meet business needs * Translate and document business needs into both summary functional requirements and detailed technical specifications for a new product, report, or product enhancement * Manage system documentation, including requirements document version control and standard templates q Conduct functional and usability testing on prototypes, products, or reports to ensure deliverable meets requirements and business need q Regularly evaluate team’s and own process and product to identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement Clients * Work with the business practice to outline and document the requirements for fixes and new behaviors/functionality/features in Jama Contour. * Work with the business, thru on-shore BAs, to determine road map placement for all fixes and enhancements * Prepare design “mock ups”, such as a sample screens or report output as needed to illustrate the proposed final product for internal or external clients * Assist Quality Assurance teams in developing test cases that will thoroughly examine all functional requirements against client business requirements * Ensure information and deliverables are shared with client-facing team or internal client according to defined workflow Financial * Assist product management team with determining the level of effort necessary to develop the product, enhancement, or report for input into the development planning phase People * Assist peers with issue resolution and peer reviews when requested * Provide informal feedback on team performance The Requirements * A degree-level qualification in a technology-related discipline, such as IT or Engineering q 1-3 years experience working in a technical environment, preferably in a product requirements-gathering role q Proficiency in English (oral and written). * Proficiency with MS Office * Familiarity with the following tools/applications/languages: * RDBMS * SQL * Standard web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) * Ability to interpret business needs in business language and translate into technical design and specifications * Knowledge of software design best practices and standards * Strong writing skills (in English) * Strong organization skills necessary for document version management * Working within tight deadlines; balancing time across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team members * Collaboration with a global team, including taking accountability for quality and on-time delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriate * Foundational understanding of a client service focus (internal or external clients) * Structured problem solving and analytical thinking * Continuous improvement mindset – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product delivery *Job ID#:* 15797 *Location:* Manila *Segment* Talent & Rewards *Business Area* Data, Surveys and Technology *Employment Status:* Regular Full-Time *Minimum Education:* Bachelors Degree *Minimum Experience:* 3 years
