(USA) Senior Administrator - Scheme Transition Specialist

The Role This is a client facing role on a team administering an Insurance Company clients growing portfolio of schemes. Initially, the successful candidate will provide support to existing senior associates in new scheme installation projects, testing of automated calculation solutions, creating ad hoc reports to meet client requirements and assisting in the teams routine work at peak times. Following on the job training, the successful candidate will be expected to run and manage installation projects successfully liaising with clients and third parties to ensure issues are identified and resolved and clients expectations are managed as well as maintaining an excellent knowledge of current admin practices. **Performance Objectives: ** * Be the lead contact on installation projects and be able to resolve benefit and data queries with clients and third parties * Build excellent client relationships * Review Trust Deed and Rules and Benefit Specifications to produce a summary of benefits for the systems team for automation * Maintain and develop further knowledge of pension schemes * Demonstrate commitment by ensuring that targets and deadlines are met * Assist in due diligence exercises, analysing data quality, identifying data issues and agree solutions * Define and develop standard processes, procedures and documentation * Be a point of reference on technical issues both current and historic * Assist in more complex/project work as required * Manage bulk exercises * Produce ad hoc reports **Excellence** * Ensure new scheme installations are completed accurately and transitioned into business as usual administration smoothly * Identify areas where the service to clients could be improved and communicate findings to appropriate Administration Controller / Manager * Challenge procedures to identify process improvements and pass on recommendations to appropriate Administration Controller / Manager **People** * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high levels of service are achieved**** * Work with the Systems and Administration teams to assist with automation plans**** **Clients** * Able to build strong client relationships and use influencing skills to manage client expectations * Be able to work directly with clients and third party contacts to resolve data and benefit basis queries on new scheme installation projects * Provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client needs and to promote the Towers Watson brand **Financial** * Ensure that expenses and time-sheets are submitted in a timely fashion * Ensure additional non budgeted effort is identified and communicated to manager The Requirements * Pass at C or above for Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent * Proven ability to build successful client relationships * PMI qualification or progression with PMI qualification preferred * Extensive experience of dealing with DB occupational pension schemes * High level of technical skills and up to date knowledge of current and historic legislative requirements * Experience of working on projects * Strong interpersonal skills to include good written and verbal communication * Good time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload * Able to work to a high level of accuracy * Computer literate – experience of using Excel spreadsheets * Proven problem solving and analytical skills * Strong administration experience and ability to follow processes **Towers Watson is an EEO/AA Employer** *Job ID#:* 16074 *Location:* Redhill *Segment* Benefits *Business Area* Technology and Administration Solutions *Employment Status:* Regular Full-Time *Minimum Education:* GCSE or equivalent *Minimum Experience:* N/A
