(USA-TX-BRYAN) LPHA Supervisor
To provide daytime (M-F, 8-5) emergency services/response, information, referral and intake services to both adults and children in Brazos County who have behavioral health disorders. This position provides diagnostician services and determines if individuals meet DSHS definition of priority population. Position thus serves as the "front-door" for deciding eligibility for ongoing MH services, prescribing level of need and prescribing necessary treatment modalities. Additionally, this position provides cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive processing therapy to individuals meeting criteria for these services. Also serves as Team Leader for designated mental health team. Staff member will provide first line supervision to Routine and Rehab Recovery Facilitators within the team. Will oversee daily operations of case management and crisis services within the team, including delegating tasks to team members. Responsible for ensuring clients are served efficiently, utilizing policies and procedures as written for the unit.
