Strategic purchasing
•Roadmap with yearly target / action for savings / payment terms per cost block
•Ingraining pro active cost saving throughout the year (ad hoc projects based on regularly asking people where they think we can cut costs, monthly checking all costs)
•Pro actively seeking decision maker’s ideas and help to start cost saving or service improvement projects
Sourcing
•Search supplier
•Ask quotations
•Negotiate terms
•Arrange contract (preferably Hilti template) + Code of Conduct
•Request SAP setup with SSC
•Coordinate creation of LPO’s and GRN’s amongst those purchasing within organization.
Travel booking: train people on the process in which they direct arrange for low cost flights or directly with our service provider arrange tickets for non low cost flights. Purchaser to insure corporate accounts with low cost airliners and usage of Airplus.
Other
•Etisalat/tel provider; assign telephones to people, arrange SIM cards, check/approve invoices & distribute per person, arrange deduction of open payables upon leaving the company
•Provide training in company for those who purchase
•Maintain contract dbase incl Code of Conduct
•Car fleet; registration, branding, allocation of car & petrol card, check/approve invoices, return vehicles, check traffic fines & salik fees
