JOB PURPOSE

To provide effective specialized support and technical analyses to policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

  1. Support in composing high quality donors’ reports are submitted in a timely manner and to ensure reports meet donor requirements.
  2. Train and inform refugees communities and community leaders about the livelihood’s activities.
  3. Coordinate trainings for women empowerment, including trainings on food processing and micro-credit activities as part of the livelihood activities.
  4. Assist in SCOPE system implementation in WFP CO and liaise with all relevant units for their inputs
  5. Conducting interviews with beneficiaries on site during distributions and performing monitoring and evaluation activities.
  6. Support training and capacity building of humanitarian partners and national actors on livelihoods
  7. Assisst in composing concept motes for new livilhood activities implemented
  8. Coordinate preparation of Field Level Agreements, budgets, reports and monthly payments
  9. Assist in composing RFP for service providers
  10. Prepare monthly consolidated operation reports reflecting updates, challenges and recommendations for each distribution cycle

Additional Responsibilities

11. Create a detailed tracking system and distribution schedule of key programme tasks for the monthly cycle and enforce systemized processes between programme and PI unit for documenting and responding to beneficiary posts/complaints on social media.

12. Report on monthly planned, distributed and redeemed distribution figures for monthly sitRep and other unit reports

13.Focal point for the communication working group with other UN agencies and NGO’s

14.Oversee the work of other support staff in terms of feedback mechanism and distribution figures and provide guidance when needed

15.Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
