As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, preparing and maintaining financial records, and reconciling bank statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Participate in audits and assist with audit preparations, including gathering and organizing supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Support the senior accountants and finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
