We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental operations within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, minimizing workplace risks, and maintaining high environmental standards across all company operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities, MOHRE, Civil Defense, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead accident/incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
- Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Monitor workplace inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain records related to safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct evacuation drills.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
- Promote continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
- Liaise with government authorities and external auditors when required.
