A leading company in Lebanon is seeking a Cashier to join its accounting team. The Cashier will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions, receiving and disbursing funds, and preparing financial reports related to the cash on hand, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving cash and check payments and issuing the necessary receipts.
- Disbursing approved payments according to financial procedures.
- Conducting daily cash counts and verifying that the actual balance matches the records.
- Preparing and submitting daily cash reports to the finance department.
- Depositing funds into bank accounts according to company instructions.
- Cooperating with the accounting team on reconciliation and auditing tasks.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and safeguarding funds and financial documents.
- Performing any other related duties.
