Key Purpose of the Role

Purpose Of Role:


The post holder will work as part of a Unified Voice & Mobility team whose objective is to acquire revenues within a specified account base.


The post holder will be responsible for acquiring UVM revenues with an agreed set of customers, ensuring the customer is fully exploiting the products and services BT Corporate have to offer. The post holding will have an excellent understanding of the current UVM portfolio. Identifying and closing UVM acquisition opportunities will be a core activity. The post holder will be a strong networker as be the ability to lead generate across the business portfolio and building strong business relationship will be central to the role

What I am responsible for?

  • To acquire competitive UVM revenues across a defined base of Corporate customers

  • Lead generation across Mobile Workforce and Inbound portfolios

  • To achieve all KPI objectives and Sales Targets and to accurately record all activity on Sales Force

  • To deliver all Acquisition projects in a timely manner taking full ownership for the activation of all associated contracts and integrity of the data captured therein


  • To define, develop and own KDM relationships and Acquisition strategy for the UVM portfolio with the defined client base, developing sales plans through agreed methodology (eg ADP/Battle) thereby ensuring business opportunities are maximised and BT revenue and profit is protected




  • To work collaboratively with other parts of BT Corporate Business to generate Sales Opportunities and maximise the potential investment with BT



  • To understand in detail the elements of the UVM portfolio you are accountable for, along with the associated systems and processes and to follow the latest trends and developments in these areas (both in terms of BT and our competition). Including 3G & 4G knowledge and the challenges and opportunities will bring BT and their customers and a clear of how the developing WIFI landscape can complement data requirements.

  • To maintain a good appreciation of BT products, services and business solutions

  • To follow the current "Competitive Marketing Principles", as issued by Regulatory Affairs.

  • To deal, where necessary, with customer complaints and advocate use of correct Service processes to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

  • To provide plans, forecasts, reports and information regarding Customer requirements, business performance and competitors as required.

  • To attend training and development courses ensuring BT’s needs are met.

  • To develop peer and executive relationships with the virtual teams and wider BT and to collaborate and lead the team effectively for client & business benefit.

  • Ensure accurate and timely management of systems e.g. Salesforce.

  • Always adhere to BT's Conduct Standards & values along with HR procedures & policies and BT Safety PolicyTo implement effective time management

  • To be a role model for the team by living the company’s values and ensuring high standards of conduct.
