The Corporate Communications team is seeking someone interested in a career in public relations to help the corporate communications staff this summer. Ideal candidate is studying journalism, public relations and/or other intensive communications disciplines. We need someone with strong organization skills who can work independently. The is an opportunity for someone with an interest in corporate public relations and/or someone with graphic and Web publishing skill.
Qualifications:
You must be in either your second or third year of university studying a relevant degree discipline
Previous relevant internship or part-time work experience is a plus
Proactive with a demonstrable "can do" attitude and ability to adapt in a fast changing environment
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Competence with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
Web publishing, design, and video editing experience
Excellent communication, organizational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail
