Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our Field Services Team as a Regional Manager of the field based team responsible for the planning, execution and commissioning of Field Service projects relating to Breakfix, Install Test and Commission and maintenance for the South region. This team will need to achieve and contribute to the formulation of Orders, Sales and Utilisation budgets. As Regional Manager you will need demonstrate strong leadership of a team of Field Engineers to achieve targets whilst maintaining a strong safety culture.
We are looking for an individual who has had experience within a Services organisation and is focused on putting our customers first. You should be an experienced leader who can lead and develop the team to achieve our ambitious growth target for 2014.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure strong customer focus within the team to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat business. Single point of Contact for our major regional clients.
- Use your Commercial Awareness to assess cost, time and resources required for installations.
- Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of Service engineers to ensure that installations are completed on time, within budget and according to customer requirements.
- Plan, prioritise and implement regional service activities to fulfill maintenance contracts and service-level agreements.
This role will be based in the South and will require occasional travel to other company and customer sites. You will need to hold a full clean driving license which allows you to drive in the UK.

The successful candidate will have:
HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Proven experience in Power Distribution - ideally within a Distribution Network Owner environment
Experience with Services and be able to demonstrate their passion to put customers first
Experience of leading a Field or Operational team
Excellent communication skills with an ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
