Cargill Pork has an exciting opportunity available for a Premium Business ManagerinWichita, Kansas, with a focus on growing, developing, and managing premium programs. This position works under the general supervision of the Pork Innovation Leader and will focus on managing premium programs and product lines. This position will manage product codes, sku rationalization, product boxes and MOC entry, schedule raw material and finished product and control both fresh and frozen products. The Premium Business Manager will be in charge of optimizing efficiencies and will work closely with both internal and external customers to grow premium pork programs. Principal Accountabilities: * * 25% - Work with Sales, Innovation and Field teams on opportunities for branded programs * 15% - Plant and Customer Visits * 10% - Review accuracy of scheduling make sheet with production team and coordinate sample request * 10% - Collaboration with the Innovation team on new product and program initiatives Qualifications: Required: * Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ relevant work experience * 3 years protein, product management and/or sales experience * Demonstrated effective analytical and strategic thinking skills * Demonstrated effective communication skills with the ability to execute a plan tactically * Demonstrated effective presentation and negotiation skills * Team player * Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively * Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Travel up to 20% Preferred: * Business/Product Management This position is posted internally as well as externally.
