Humana is seeking a Technology Program Manager; in this role you will: plan, coordinate, monitor and implement complex IT programs, delivering superior project planning and management throughout the project life-cycle. You will also lead special projects and assignments as necessary, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between business needs and technological solutions. * Develop a consolidated management-level dashboard of relevant metrics, including number of implementations by month, number of open issues and defects, first pass rates and project status * Develop the program charter, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related program artifacts. * Create and deploy a training curriculum for an audience of IT associates, educating them about process flow and system procedures * Design and maintain a cross-team release and project status reporting mechanism that can be used by senior management to ensure that projects are tracking according to schedule * Document current processes and recommend areas and approaches for process improvement and re-engineering **Key Competencies** * Accountability: Meets established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results; encourages others to do the same. * Acts Strategically: Makes decisions and sets strategy based on the long-term vision, uses an enterprise-wide perspective to translate strategies into actions, inspires others to embrace and advance the strategy, and creates a clear view of the future state. * Collaborates: Engages others by gathering multiple views and being open to diverse perspectives, focusing on a shared purpose that puts Humana''s overall success first. * Leads Change: Guides and energizes others, models adaptability, and inspires strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexity ## Qualifications **Role Essentials** * 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience * Strong IT project/program management background, with demonstrated experience leading large scale projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports * Prior experience in managing large-scale, complex programs involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners * Strong communication skills. Position requires significant amount interaction with IT and business leadership * Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies **Role Desirables** * Master’s Degree of Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field * Six Sigma and/or PMP certification * Experience in managing budget at Portfolio/Program level * Experience in managing deliverables at Program level * Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering * Prior experience managing vendor relationships * Prior work experience in the healthcare industry **Additional Information**Humana is an organization with careers that change lives—including yours.
