Title: Customer Service Key Account Liaison - Construction Systems - Shakopee, MN Location: United States-Minnesota-Shakopee Job Number: 1400127 Position Summary TheKey Account Liaisonis a member of the BASF Building Systems Customer Support Team and reports to a Customer Service Team Lead. The Key Account Liaison is responsible for all inquiries from select Key Accounts to Customer Service, acting as the link between external customers and various internal departments and third parties. This includes taking ownership for the entire order to cash process, including the processing of orders and the handling of all other inquiries to ensure that the select Key Accounts receive services that meet or exceed their expectations.The select Key Accounts will be assigned by the Customer Service Manager in coordination with the National Sales Manager(s). The learning and performance objectives for this position include product, process and procedural knowledge, as well as general business acumen. The successful candidate will exemplify the behaviors of; Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Teamwork, Leadership, and Customer Focus, understanding the importance of meeting and exceeding the needs of our internal and external customers. This position is located in Shakopee, Minnesota. Principle Responsibilities · Primary Responsibility for select Key Accounts · Autonomy to determine how to prioritize responsibilities; balancing short and medium term objectives while successfully ensuring completion of routine job duties · Provide enhanced support to select Key Accounts through broad knowledge of our products, policies, and procedures · Decision making authority, dependent within a Terms of Reference and independent · Works to build rapport with customers, internal functions and external service providers to better understand what can be done to improve internal and external processes and procedures · Represents Customer Service on special projects as assigned by Customer Service Team Lead · Resolve many, sometimes conflicting, issues in a professional, confident, timely manner while performing routine tasks · Initiates necessary action required to remove any obstacles that may impact BASF's ability to satisfy customer requirements · Supports BASF Building Systems Customer Support Team members and processes · Positive image of self and corporation, even in difficult and stressful situations · Travel to customer sites and BASF plant sites as required Qualifications: Candidate Qualifications BS degree in Technical, Business or Supply Chain or other relevant discipline strongly preferred. Will consider two (2) or more years of equivalent, relevant customer service experience in lieu of degree Demonstrated ability to handle multiple PC applications Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities Excellent time management and organization skills Desired: Business acumen Knowledge of SAP Knowledge of database query/reporting Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access/Excel Function: ADSU - Admin. & Office Support Job Type: Standard Shift: Day Job Organization: N-EBN-Construction Chemicals North America
