The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our internal outreach databases, serving as main POC for system implementation and utilization, maintaining data accuracy, and analyzing and reporting on all outreach metrics for a utility-sponsored energy efficiency program. Must have the knowledge and expertise to modify excel spreadsheets to meet changing reporting needs. The Trade Ally and Outreach coordinator will also be called upon to create specific queries and reports using the program's tracking system, based on requests from the Business Development functional group. Must possess strong communication and team skills as the applicant will need to communicate consistently and effectively with customers, trade allies and internal employees as well as the client. Must be capable of creating and managing process to validate data and report on progress. The ideal candidate will also possess the appropriate skill sets to plan, schedule and execute appropriate outreach to trade allies and customers for the purpose of educating them on the use of the incentive program and the tools within it. Basic Qualifications • Inside Sales experience preferably in a technical field. • Knowledgeable in technical fields such as lighting, HVAC, utility systems, energy efficiency programs, and/or building system fields. • Proven experience working as or with electrical or mechanical contractors in a commercial and/or industrial setting. • Microsoft Office: Excel (Strong Proficiency): Ability to create complex, custom reports and charts based on changing business needs. Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and QC complex Excel workbooks. Access (Proficient): Manage, update and create reports utilizing large data sets to build Ad Hoc queries in response to business needs. Outlook (Strong Proficiency): Ability to manage multiple calendars and track tasks. • Experience with CRM Systems: Ability to quickly learn customer relations management software ( Microsoft Dynamics) and utilize with office products. • Forecasting/Reporting experience or relevant coursework: General understanding of forecasting principles and different types of forecasting techniques. • Customer service expertise. Desired skills Interest in or experience with energy efficiency. Degree in a quantitative field CAPM/PMP. • Ability to manage time effectively and meet necessary deadlines; sometimes deadlines come up suddenly and need to be completed fast; by consistently improving processes and reports, the applicant should ensure fast and accurate response to business needs. • Must possess strong. organizational skills, a self starter and pro-active attitude. • Attention to detail: Many of these reports are sent to internal and external upper level management. It is important that these reports are accurate, timely and thorough. • Will often be working on multiple reports for different functional groups, strong prioritization and time management skills are necessary. Ability to write reports summarizing data findings. • Strong communications and team skills for collaborating with people from each functional group and help to standardize reports that could benefit multiple groups.
