The Role **Location: This role will initially be based in downtown Philadelphia. In the summer of 2014 we expect it to be transferred to a new facility, soon to be announced, which will be located in Southern New Jersey.** The Benefits Systems Administrator supports the delivery of superior benefits administration services to Towers Watson clients; including Health & Welfare and Pension plan administration. The full time position requires an individual who is comfortable with benefits administration systems and client contact. Performance Objectives: Excellence * Administer ongoing and annual enrollment daily benefit system activities * Receive and import data files containing new hires, changes and terminations * Generate payroll/vendor feeds, as well as ad-hoc management reports * Process system data updates such as indicative data, election data, dependent and beneficiary data * Gain an understanding of the system interfaces with HRIS, payroll, and insurance carriers * Help develop and maintain system processing documentation * Process and fulfill enrollment worksheets, confirmation statements and other benefit related materials * Internally manage client inventory * Assist with system testing; Web, interfaces and system generated reports for new and ongoing systems * 100% compliance with SOC1 and Professional Excellence criteria * Gain an understanding of the plan design, including coverage levels and options, eligibility, enrollment/change and termination procedures * Assist project team with client assignments to deliver timely, within-budget and high quality work People/Clients * Take initiative to proactively share knowledge and/or experience with team members * Develop strong partnerships with team members * Identify potential out of scope work and new opportunities to client teams Financial * Meet service level agreements across all clients * Meet billable hour goals as defined by your manager * Work within prescribed budget for each project * Analyze process workflow and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness The Requirements * Ability to gain a strong understanding of the administrative process as it relates to Health & Welfare and Pension benefit plans * Knowledge of flexible benefits administration preferred * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel and Word * Professional and responsible approach to work, clients and associates * Ability to manage time and work a flexible schedule * Ability to organize and prioritize with strong attention to details * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision * Ability to complete multiple projects within established deadlines * College degree preferred *Job ID#:* 16424 *Location:* Philadelphia, PA *Segment* Benefits *Business Area* Technology and Administration Solutions *Employment Status:* Regular Full-Time *Minimum Education:* Associates Degree *Minimum Experience:* 1 year
